Hello,

Could someone in the Familiar development team
indicate which tools were used to build Familiar 0.8.4
 :

- which gcc / g++ compiler used to compile the kernel,
opie and all apps ?
- which version of binutils ?

Erik Hovland wrote on this list some weeks ago that
the Glibc was the 2.3.3

(I asks this because I can't use OE, because of the
limited capacities of my computer an interned
connexion)

I am a bit confused because :

- on ftp://ftp.handhelds.org/projects/toolchain/ we
have the following prebuilt toolchains of
handhelds.org :
arm-linux-gcc-3.3.2
arm-linux-gcc-3.4.1

- and on
ftp://ftp.handhelds.org/projects/toolchain/source/ ,
we have others versions of gcc and glibc ... :

gcc 2.95.2
gcc 3.2.3
gcc 3.3.2
     and
glibc 2.1.2
glibc 2.3.2

  ??? ???
And we can read on
http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/PrebuiltToolchains
:
ftp://ftp.handhelds.org/projects/toolchain/
The sources corresponding to this toolchain are in
ftp://ftp.handhelds.org/projects/toolchain/source/
  ??? ??? (don't understand ...)

Thanks in advance for any response,
Sylvain Letellier
