AW: fam0.8.4opie: cannot install packages to cf (iPAQ 3660+Jacket)

Hi Juan Pablo,

thanks for your quick help. I tried to use ipkg (which is in fact the same
package manager, the opie-GUI is using) but the same problem arises. As soon
as I install libopiemm2-1, it says:
"ipkg: Cannot create symlink from ./opt/QtPalmtop/lib/libopiemm2.so.1.9.0 to
'libopiemm2.so.1.9.0': Operation not permitted."
Same for libopiemm2.so.1.9 down to libopiemm2.so.
Manually creating these links is no problem.
Permissions seam to be ok.

While reading the Wiki for ipkg, I found an old issue (familiar 0.8.1),
describing exactly my problem.
here it is:
 "ipkg-link won't link files on /media mount points

 This is caused by the fact, that the /mnt mount points haven't been changed
to /media ones (in the ipkg-link).     You can either use /mnt destinations
in ipkg.conf or correct the ipkg-link script. To do the last run:

 cat /usr/bin/ipkg-link|sed s/mnt/media/>/usr/bin/ipkg-link

 Now the old mount points (/mnt) had been updated to /media"

I applied this workaround an changed the ipkg-link script, but it had no
effect.
I´m still trying to figure out, what the problem is...
perhaps I have to link /mnt to /media, which makes no sense for in /mnt cf
is linked to /media/cf.
