iPAQ h3600: g_ether or usb-eth?

Hello! After several years without developing onto my ipaq h3660, I decided to recompile a new filesystem with a linux-2.6.20-hh1 kernel version. Everything seems to work well but not my "USB network". I compiled the g_ether.ko but when I configure my usb0, my iPAQ seems not to be recognized by my PC (even if cdc_subset and usbnet are "modprobed). In the past, I used to use usb-eth (like everybody) and I got a usbf. I decided to recompile this one , so I have got a usbf "LAN device" as in the past and I can use ssh. But there is a problem when I want to scp a file from my PC to my iPAQ. After few seconds, the copy stops and displays "--stalled--" and my iPAQ isn't recognize anymore. I have to rmmod then modprobe some modules on the iPAQ and on the PC to get a new connection. So my question is: Should I use g_ether with my h3660 iPAQ or is there a patch for usb-eth? It seemed to me that g_ether was for pxa*** iPAQs and Zaurus machines...
