Stopping LAB boot?

I want to reflash my h2200, but for some reason I can't get the boot
to abort in LAB. I can reset and get the rescue bootloader prompt, but
once linux starts booting, at the point where it says "press a key to
abort the boot" it doesn't seem to matter which key I press, the boot
continues. Is there a command I can give in the rescue bootloader to
erase the flash? Not erase LAB, just the linux flash?
