I'm familiar with the procedures for the IPKG update and upgrade and have
run them both as per the WIKI instructions, but after that, nothing will
install.  

 

Half the time, trying to reach the Angstrom site for the package fails when
trying to download the packed from the PDA directly.  

 

Even after the package is available via download or on a SD or CF card, the
installation itself fails.  This happens with any OPIE program I have tried
so far.    

 

I have even used an earlier package of Angstrom and have manually installed
the libraries needed for a specific program and then the program itself.  

 

Even though everything appears to install properly, the program itself is
not added to the application page and manually adding anything to the
application page is denied due to some right issues, even though I
supposedly have full rights.  

 

Like I stated before, Angstrom just seems to have too many problems and
absolutely no support.  

 

If Familiar has moved onto more modern PDAs like the HPs, then I guess I
will have to as well.
