RE: Missing serial port device with 2.4.7 devfs

Try booting with init=/bin/sh and look in /dev to see if /dev/ttySA0 is
there.  There is a new serial port driver that appeared in 2.4.5 that does
not use the /dev/tts/0 naming scheme -- it's back to the old userland
/dev/ttySA0 scheme.  At least, it should be.  The serial port driver is
compiled into the kernel -- no module to load. 

Did you load task-bootstrap-2.4.7-rmk3-np1-devfs_hh2.jffs2?
