Help, Intimate install time loop

Hello, 

I've re-installed intimate more times than i can count ,for some
reason every time after reboot it boots into familiar .. Can someone
please help me out with this ?
i've been working on this on and off for a long time at my increasing
frustration .. 

Is some special trick needed to get a dual expansion pack to work ?
