HDD recommendations

Hello,

i want to go with a PCMCIA sleeve and a HDD for intimate.
IIRC i found issues about IBM udrive and ipaq suspend mode in the 
mailinglist archives some time ago. Toshiba drives are much more 
GB/price but they seem to consume more battery at a lower performance 
than IBM uDrive. Opinions? Alternatives?
