I'm pretty happy with my IBM 1G microdrive. I didn't especially like the PCMCIA sleeve (kinda thick for my pockets), so it was nice that the IBM drive fits in a CF slot. I haven't tried the other drives, so I couldn't tell you anything about performance / battery life. I haven't had any problems with it though, and as long as you use it in a sensible manner (buffer your mp3s, etc) it seems to last long enough. As regards price, I got mine for a little less then $400 over the summer, which was a good deal then. I haven't priced others. -- Adam Lydick On Tue, 27 Nov 2001, Martin Heimes wrote: > Hello, > > i want to go with a PCMCIA sleeve and a HDD for intimate. > IIRC i found issues about IBM udrive and ipaq suspend mode in the > mailinglist archives some time ago.
