I found the ``real'', linux on jornada 56X page on handhelds.org's
wiki, saw I had to remove the batteries. I have a serial console now.
It might be a good idea to link to that page from the status page,
since it comes up first on google searches.

I loaded the opie jffs2 image, but cannot seem to get linux to open
the serial console correctly.

It does:

"Booting Linux image"

and then stalls.

Which is normal with the normal settings that have linuxflags
containing console=none. Changing it to ttyS0, ttyS0,115200 doesn't
change anything.
Probing around, I noticed that /dev/ is empty. Is that expected?

Again, if anyone has clues, I'd appreciate it.
