Hmmm, this is strange - it doesn't seem to happen for me. 

What ipaq / matchbox version are you running ? 

When clicked on, do other dock apps cause the same problem ? 

Does /proc/apm give 'normal' results ? 

Does the memory usage rise whilst you are clicking or after ?
