Hi 

I have tried the lib-mb test and the Hello From Arabic stuff pops
up.......inside a line to the left....

Can you highlight the purpose of test ?

The system hangs again.....after the following black window with lines of
Hello from Arabic

Hi Mathew
Sorry for not being very clear on the issue...
It also hangs after showing all those error messages and i need to reboot 
my linux box.....
i have tried all your commands as well and the same phenomenon occurs... 
Matchbox does not start to run....It just pops up many WM_DEBUG and MB- 
PANEL-DEBUG and X-error[BadWindow - Invalid Window Parameter (opcode:20)] 
and etc.....say 100s of such messages and then....system hangs....
I have no clue....what is the error...

Have you tried matchbox -display :0   ?
