Thus it is very > important, to ease bug reporting process for users. I'd go further to say that for project/s of this scale, it is as important as the existence of the developer group. Without it I believe progress will be dramatically hindered possibly ultimately fatally. Debian does indeed seem a perfect example of how to handle this issue from the user's perspective.
