This error should be fixed in 2.6.16 kernels and the next test release
will have a 2.6.16 kernel so hopefully that will get fixed.

I've never seen an SCR version 3. How old is this card out of interest?
I suspect this is an old card and the SCR data is totally invalid. I'm
considering adding a work around to the kernel to ignore these SCR
problems. I'll know more once I have the results of some tests someone
is doing for me (all my cards just work which is a mixed blessing).

/dev/mmcblk0p0 will only appear if it successfully reads the card. It
will automount if created.

The information from dmesg is good, thanks.

Also of interest is the information
in /sys/devices/platform/pxa2xx-mci/mmc0:xxxx/. (xxx is some hex
number). The files of particular interest are scr, csd and cid.

You can use kexec although this isn't supported/enabled in the 3.5.4.1
release at present.
