I suggest using bitbake-9999, which is from SVN.

You need only one or the other. If you want to track releases use
oz354x. dev is for development and *may* break.

The gcc-3 (or 4 if you're adventurous) compiler *is* generated by OE,
but the 2.4 kernels need the 2.95 toolchain. The 2.95 toolchain is
used *only* for the 2.4 zaurus kernels.
