Hi all,
I'm proud to announce that the kdrive X driver for the ATI Imageon 100
(w100) has reached a state I'm no longer ashamed of, therefore I'm
thinking of releasing a beta and hearing your screaming. :-)
The only acceleration supported are solid fills and area copy. Much more
is going to come next (HW cursors, RandR, more accels, EXA, xvideo,
MPEG...), though I cannot make promises about when (and if) all this
will come true.

In my (few) tests, the driver runs quite well. While scrolling widgets,
there is a strange timing issue that leads some areas not to be redrawn
immediately.

I'm attaching my tree in a tarred archive, but I'm not sure whether the
ML will allow that through. If not, we'll think of some other way. :-)
this tar must be uncompressed in the xserver/hw/kdrive directory (of
course you have to add this binary to the main configure.in, and modify
the parent Makefile.am's)

I'd like to ask some C7x0 developers to test this driver, and give me
some feedback.

Last but not least, many thanks to the precious Richard Purdie and
Manuel Teira for their collaboration in decoding how this chip works.
