observations on OZ tosa install instructions

  making a first attempt at installing OZ 3.5.4.2-RC1 on my tosa from
here:

and the instructions at both of the installation pages seem to be
inconsistent and just plain wrong.  if we number the pages:

1)  http://wiki.openzaurus.org/Tosa/Install
2)  http://openzaurus.org/wordpress/installation/sl-6000/

both pages have some noticeable shortcomings.

  first, page 1 states that you should first "connect to external
power", while page 2 insists that you should first "unplug AC power
jack" and then later asks you to plug into power again.

  next, page 2 weirdly describes the "On/Off" button as being on the
"back side".  huh?

  and both pages suggest that, after a successful flash, you should
see the message "Rebooting ...".   that's not what happens -- what you
get is the message "Please reset".  whereupon, if you do and turn the
unit on again, at least in my case, i get the first line of

  "OpenZaurus" and the little zaurus icon and ...

hang.

  any hints?
