Hi folks, I'm sure someone will have seen this one before but I searched the list and came up with nothing. I've been trying the resurrect my collie. I flashed my 5500 with OZ 3.5.4 / GPE 2.7 from one of the mirrors (checked the md5s, they're OK) and it installed fine. I booted into the system and all was good. I then copied the gpe-image-3.5.4-collie.rootfs.tar.gz and opie-image-3.5.4-collie.rootfs.tar.gz files onto my SD card (which has worked before with OZ) and tried to go into advanced->install from tar.gz in the altboot menus. The first time I tried it, it failed daying that it's unable to mount the SD card. I tried again and it then consistently said that insmod failed while loading. I guessing here that it's the SD driver loading that's failing. I was under the impression that 3.5.4 worked on the collie with SD card, it was only the 3.5.4.X series that has the 2.6 kernel and hence no SD support for the collie. Is that right? Does anyone know how I can get my Z to run from SD card with altboot? Many thanks. Spiros ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
