Donate hosting for lists, admin time and host OZ related lists for us for
next years with some kind of GOOD spam filters then?
We use SourceForge for mailing lists and do not plan to change it. It
works, it is free, it does not require us to do anything related to
mailing lists so we have more time to do any development. You can
complain to SF support ofcourse but I think that they will not change
their policy.

I had days with 70 megabytes of spam DAILY (can not remember how much
mails it was). Now I host my domain on server with proper spam filtering
and have only few wrongly tagged mails per day.

Some time ago I disabled comments on OpenZaurus webpage due to fact that
getting rid of spam comments costed me up to one hour daily (WordPress
with SpamKarma2 installed). And no one wanted to take it from me.
