Originally, I wasn't given the choice of GPL or QPL, though that did 
change afterwards. But even now, if I'm not developing a GPled 
application (say, I'm developing a CDDL one), I have to choose the QPL. 
So no, I'm not always given the choice of either.

(Except for the GPL, which often forces me to choose the QPL. Hurrah for

The company that you work for releases code under a license that allows 
that company to steal my work and not pay me for it. Do you believe that 
to be wrong? You certainly make it sound like you do. If you don't, why 
are you complaining about Nokia doing it?
