That is a wrong conclusion IMHO, it is NOT because Smartphones are better but 
because PDA are conceived as computeres (virusses spam complex, etc etc) 
whereas smartphones are ... phones.  most ppl that buy 'smartphones' only use 
about 5 % of its capabilities because the never bother to figure out how the 
calendar works or how you can do proper mailing or browsing.

Well speaking of browsing, in the age of 1280x1024 and higher resolutions 
becoming standard, are we expecting ppl to acces the web on a 150x150 
display ??? 

If only we could make aPDA that is as easy to use as a phone then perhaps ppl 
will be tempted by the better display (more real estate and resolution) and 
better navigation (for keyboard input) speed and better peripherals (MMC 
SDIO, etc)
