full ack. I try to push KDE hard to be able to use KDE services and
applications without needing 30 mb of flash and 128 mb of ram. e.g.
I want to run Koffice on my device. I do even think we do not even need
to sacrifice stuff like network transparency. Nokia has shown that a  
powerful
Virtual File System solution can be used on current handheld devices.

And Nokia has invested money in tuning and porting, recently they have
even released benchmarks of Gtk 2.6 vs. 2.8 for all major widgets, they
have even published the tools they have used for that.

I would love to find some one who will do the same for KDE. But it is
unlikely that it will happen as Trolltech is protecting both Qt and  
Qtopia
against competition.

I need to finish a lot of Uni assignments before I will finally  
publish my
vision on Mobile Computing on Linux.


But again I fully agree with the need for a "Personal Mobile Tool"!
