well I rsync Qt 4.1 snapshots daily, but why is Qtopia limited to 1.7  
and not 2.1?
The only answer is with Qt you want people to test and report issues,  
with Qtopia
2.1 you do not want that (for whatever reasons...).

Lorn I really hate to repeat myself. I have lost the trust in the people
building Qtopia. The platform has so many flaws, the applications have
many flaws and short comings, there a couple of wild bugs in the code.
And worst I have stopped reporting the issues as one gets no feedback
at all (not via bug reporting, not via opie forum..)

Well it gets industry standard, think of JSR, .NET specification and  
recent
blogs by M$ developers. Trolltech could be ahead of time (something
that is important for business).

Well this is what scares me. Qtopia will be like before...

Well that is my point. Qt 4 was carefully designed and implementation
can always be tuned.
