I've been using VNC quite a bit recently and ended up using my simpad with keypebble. I noticed that only the raw and copyrect encoding are implemented in keypebble ATM. I'm thinking of having a go at adding (some) of the others but I'm having trouble getting hold of the source. I'm having my usual problems with firewalls and CVS so the latest version of the source which I have is 27th March 2005. Have there been any changes in keypebble since then? If so, could someone send me a tar ball of the latest. In my first look through the code I noticed that it was doing a lot of connecting and disconnecting slots and signals as it was processing the incoming stream of data. Are these expensive enough operations that it is worth replacing with a single connected slot acting like a state machine? I quite like the way it works ATM but I was under the impression that (dis)connecting slots and signals was quite expensive to be done that frequently. If it is expensive I'll look at making that change, too.
