Please try to stay fair and actually look at the code before making such comments. We've been in sync with libopie2 HEAD for quite a while now as far as ODevice for h2200 or hx4700 is concerned. There are no improvements for key handling on those devices in CVS. As far as the rest of ODevice for iPAQs is concerned, HEAD is actually a regression compared to what's in Familiar. The corresponding patches have either been ignored or turned down on opie-devel. The underlying problem appears to be that there's little to no interest among Opie core developers to support the new iPAQs. We're trying to compensate for that but, unsurprisingly, it's difficult to replace proper upstream support. > So, would you consider switching Familiar to use 1.2.2 of libopie2 (yet > better, even more recent CVSDATE)? No. That would be pointless as far as ODevice is concerned. Upgrading any core library at this stage in the release cycle would be foolish anyway. Non-intrusive patches that address specific problems will be accepted.
