Paul, I'm fully agree with you.
Lorn, do you have any information about features that OPIE II should have?
I don't think it's a good idea just to say "opie sucks, opie ii rules, 
so you'd better think that opie is now based on qtopia 4". This will 
push the rest of the OPIE users far far away from dealing with anything 
named OPIE.
