Hi, I am an engineering student working with other students to design and build a digital picture frame. We are using a Sharp Microcontroller to control the picture frame, and we've oaded an embedded version of Debian Linux onto the microcontroller. When we finally got the microcontroller to work with our QVGA 6.4 inch LCD, we had Opie loaded on it. After some research, we've understood Opie's use, but we're having troubles trying to increase Opie's resolution. I read that the default for Opie is 240x320 resolution, but with our 6.4 inch LCD, we have 640x480 resolution. We've looked in the Opie config files, but cannot find a way to increase Opie's resolution. Can you help? Additionally, we'd like to keep Opie running, but also write custom applications to display pictures in a slideshow format. In order to run the slideshow program, we were hoping to access the console. As it is now, we receive the error message: Could not locate application embeddedkonsole. Have you heard of this error before? Do you know a way to solve this problem? Thanks a lot in advance, The PhotoEn Team from University of Colorado at Boulder _______________________________________________ Open Source User Interface and Apps built on Qt Embedded Opie mailing list [email protected] https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/opie
