Failures? ... anyone still on these mailing lists? ;-) The main failures I had with familiar 0.8.4 on my simpad was due to the very old wpa_supplicant included in the distro. While the one in openzaurus (on a zaurus sl-c1000) works very well, this one is unable to connect to my linksys running dd-wrt. Also, one of my wifi cf cards, a SanDisk Connect Plus (with 128Mb unusable flash, and a prism 3 chipset) wouldn't work because familiar doesn't include the non-free firmware or the scripts to load it automatically. > -- > Lonny > -- > "The glass is neither half empty nor half full ... it is twice as > big as it needs to be" > > _______________________________________________ > Open Source User Interface and Apps built on Qt Embedded > Opie mailing list > [email protected] > https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/opie -- Jose Bernardo B R Silva http://counter.li.org #245602 http://cosmos.oninetspeed.pt/jose.bernardo [email protected] _______________________________________________ Open Source Software for Compaq iPAQ Handhelds. iPAQ mailing list [email protected] https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/ipaq irc://irc.openprojects.net #ipaq
