Battery meter

I just clicked on the battery meter for the first time since installing 1.2.1 and fam 0.8.4 and noticed I do not show a percentage at all. All I see is a picture of a battery and a transparent box below that. Does anyone know if this is a bug I should file or is there something in my config possibly that would do this?
