How about we work towards getting an Opie community together so that we
can get this consensus one way or the other?

An Opie community is made from its contributors. I consider that to be
the developers who author code, the people who support Opie through
documentation, testing, hosting resources (and I do include those who
help with hosting on hh.org and oszine.de) and anyone who contributes
help on [email protected] and [email protected]. Am I missing anyone?

Would it be agreeable to Lorn and others if we attempted to figure out
who these people are and pose these questions to them? Give them a
deadline to respond. Can we do this somewhat publicly (although I
understand if some level of anonymity were desired)?

If we can agree on what the questions are, get a vote on the answers and
come up with a consensus there can be no doubt and I am willing to
accept an outcome based on that.
