import vcal from email fails

if I receive a vcal 'event' attachment, as email, Snapper offer to open
with Calendar OR DateBk6

if I 'open with calendar' it imports correctly;
if I 'open with DateBk6' it doesn't import correctly;

is it that DateBk doesn't support importing vcal events ?
and, Snapper shouldn't pass it to DateBk ?
tried looking in the pdf, but, didn't find

filename is name.vcs
