Opening up the TX and cleaning around the screen sometimes helps.

Otherwise Palmpowerups.com powerdigi trial to see if it works and
buying it if it  helps.

I haven't heard of any TX battery leaking issues.
There is a video on youtube on TX opening and having done this
myself I found it easier than i expected.

The new battery looks like it has to be soldered onto the motherboard
so not too easy. The tungsten T3 battery is easier since its socketed.
