Re: DateBk a deal-breaker for iPhone/iPad migration

Hi,
IMHO market is spreading on different platforms AND Palm seems to slowly drown in the waves.
"Never say never again" but the exploding success of iPhoneOS far ahead off all others leaves little chance to survive for dying ones.
The closed access to the calender in the first runs of iPhoneOS tasted bitter to users and developers
BUT now as the API is open to developers I can´t imagine that there will not be lots of calendar apps soon.
DateBook - I used it for year and still am using it - was and is far ahead of most (all?) calendar apps.
BUT - as already mentioned here - developing for dozens of millions of potential users is always more attractive to developers on a living platform
AND  - as proven in the past - a living platform is more attractive for buyers to buy the hardware and then look for software than to buy a dying hardware because of a almost perfect software.

I´m very sorry about that
