One of My Friends Got Himself a great email address name, (for free) something like joeboggs-U/VrRWuZcBFWk0Htik3J/[email protected], or something like that. However, after doing so, you run a high risk of the emails being put in the Spam Filter, if a large number of people from that server have been spamming, because that server has no anti spam rules, dont clamp down on spammers. On Thunderbird you can auto report to spamfilters and to authorities. Just mark as spam and report, and all get sent and reported to all agencies. A While ago, I think, there were issues with the Server owner being used for Pimlico, I think, and, among others, it effected AOL Users, I think, and Pimlico got bounced or put in AOL Spam. But I Might Be Remembering. Now, What Has Happened with Me, in the Past, has Been, When Sending the Same Mail Twice, I Have Received a Warning that the Receiver Server (Whether Yahoo Groups or Pimlico I Cant Remember which) Receiver Does Not Receive Spam, But All I Had Done was send same email again, as eas not sure if it was received. Good Luck :-) On 28/08/2010 18:15, bigtowers20 wrote: > > --- In [email protected], Larry Finch<finches@...> wrote: >> Your email address is listed in the SPAMCOP database as a known source >> of spam. Can't do anything about Spamcop, since their source of info, and method of operation is bogus. As I said before, "not my problem to solve." > >> On Sat, Aug 28, 2010 at 11:14 AM, bigtowers20<bigtowers@...> wrote: >>> >>> --- In [email protected], David Griffin<gripfin@> wrote: >>>> The header shows that your message to Pimlico was interpreted as Spam. >>>> Thpough clearly not ideal, this is not usually a sign that a company has >>>> ceased trading. >>> Perhaps, but it means I also won't be able to contact them for tech support, if needed. Their published contact information is wrong, since we certainly can't fax them a message, either, if all other contact methods fail. In any event, if they're not getting email from Paypal, they've got a bigger problem to solve. >>> >>> I had a similar problem trying to get Blue Nomad to respond to a support request for Backupbuddy and found their web site (which was up until a few months ago) was still advertising their products, listed phone numbers that were disconnected and a US mail address that turned out to be a box at a UPS store in Santa Monica. I found other customers who had (then) recently purchased licenses and had not received anything and couldn't contact anyone to find out why. As of a few minutes ago, Palmgear, and others are still selling licenses, yet the company is long gone and there certainly is no support available. >>> >>>> It shows that either >>>> - Your address, subject or content was spamlike >>>> - their filter is oversensitive >>>> >>>> If you can modify any of the 3 and try again you might get a different >>>> result. >>> I'm not modifying anything.
