RE: Win 7 and not able to sync

you could try running the program in "compadability mode" which is where the software thinks its on another os. now this is basically a crapshoot but its worth a shot. heres what you do. 1st) right click on the program on the desktop and a window will appear. goto which on the bottom of the list which unfortunaly the ter escapes me but i believe its PROPERTIES.  On the SECOND tab click on COMPADIBILTY and there will be another window.
2ed) there will be a drop down windows which i beleive says windows vista. click on the arrow and look for WINDOWS XP SP3 and click on it. Now on the bottom area there a check box that says RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR click it then click APPLY and then OK. it should close. 3ed) run the program, a window will pop up and click on OK and it will run. NOW from this point it may or may not sync yer clie but its worth a shot. if not then i would HIGHLY recomand a netbook this this sole requirement MAKE SURE THAT THE OS IS 32bit good luck and godbless

My old laptop crashed and I have a Win 7 one now. I can load the Palm desktop software on it but I can't get it to reconize my Sony Clie, so I can't sync it. I would love to be able to get it working so at least I can save my years of data.
