Re: Datebk for smartphones

Hi Larry,

As you may recall, I am giving serious thought to adopting your system of a Palm device for DateBk6 plus an iPhone.  I have a short question with a long explanation: Do you stick with a routine regarding the entering or changing of calendar entries?  

For example, suppose that sometime in the morning you change the text or the timing of a calendar entry on your Palm device.  A few hours later, you happen to have access to an internet-enabled computer; you do some calendaring on Google Calendar, and you choose to make some changes to that same calendar entry that you handled earlier in the morning.

Now, when you return home to sync Google Calendar into Pimlical (and then, I presume, hotsync your Palm device to Pimlical before syncing the newly updated Pimlical with Google Calendar), what happens to the changes that you made to this calendar entry?  In other words, do you ever encounter problems with your syncing routine related to the issue of making a change to a calendar entry with your Palm *and* later in the day making a change to that same calendar entry on a computer in Google Calendar?

Finally, are my above assumptions correct that, on a typical day, someone in your/our position FIRST syncs Google Calendar into Pimlical, THEN hotsycns their Palm device into Pimlical, and THEN syncs that newly updated Pimlical "up" into Google Calendar?
