Pocket Informant as a Datebk replacement

Like many of you, I'm waiting for an iPhone version of Datebk. There is a
lot of talk about Pocket Informant, and I want to put in my two cents:

It may be better than other programs, including the native iPhone calendar,
but it has far less functionality than Datebk. Far less. And the functions
that it does have are quite buggy. One example: you can create a template
for an event in PI, but it won't let you set up an alarm for it. Another:
You can import events from the iPhone calendar, but cannot assign tags to
it. (These are just a few of the many I've found.)

I've had repeating events show up on the same day--40 dentist appointments
on one day! And I have to manually delete them, one at a time. From time to
time, the calendar (in the month view) is a day off! It says today is
Tuesday, Nov 10. Completely unacceptable.

I've also received some extremely poor tech support (and lots of good
support, too!). But someone walked me through some steps that deleted all my
data--and the backup.

I'm stuck with it and will try to make it work, but for anyone thinking
it'll replace Datebk, you will be sorely disappointed. It's far too buggy
right now, in my opinion.
