Alarm Issues

Hi, I am a long time DateBk user through many versions and many devices. There is an issue with my Palm TX and DateBk which comes and goes... sometimes the alarms don't go off at all which has caused me to be late a few times now. If I play Ptunes then eventually the sound is restored - but, of course, it is no good an alarm being unreliable! I have DateBk6 set to handle the alarms. Obviously, there is a conflict somewhere.. but I am blowed if I can find it! I have deleted most of the other applications off the device and rebooted many times. Sound is restored on a reboot also. There are two applications left that may be suspects: BigClock and Clock Both have alarms - but I have deleted them and had a problem when they were off the device.. so I reinstated them.
