Java is source. Apple will never have Java and CESD has no time to port to other source. We have been told , not gonna happen. -- Sent from my EVO phone with K-9 Mail. I *adore adore ADORE* DateBk and have years and years of data there (sync'd to Outlook - so I guess I can resync with some new device). But, IMHO, nothing that I have seen on other people's devices (iPhone, BBerry) even remotely compares IN ANY WAY to DateBk - hands down, no comparison. Best product out there. I am not a MAC person and my only current interaction with Apple is my iPod, but my top 2 choices for Treo replacement are BBerry or iPhone, and out of the 2 iPhone will probably win. Have read thread upon thread on other areas of the web about this issue, and people would GLADLY pay (and pay WELL) for this app for the iPhone with the ability to convert their current data. Many people are now CARRYING 2 DEVICES just to keep their DateBk going. I don't know much about Pimlico or CESD, but the cause of Gorilla Haven that is supported by the sales of DateBk would benefit from what could be considerable additional funding if DateBk was made available for iPhone. Have no idea what it would take to leverage iPhone's existing apps to produce the integration that was possible in the world of PalmOS. I am a software person by trade, so I can understand that there may be many many technical complexities and perhaps even more business complexities. But I hope that this port will be seriously considered someday if it has not already been seriously considered. DateBk devotees would benefit, and perhaps the Gorillas would benefit more.
