Hi Gang! I'm one of those DateBook 6 holdouts on my Palm Tungston E . . . It quit syncing with Outlook - which is a 'once a year' thing or so when MS dowloads updates to Outlook 2003. And, I'd also been experiencing some slow response so I ran DB FixIt a few times - no errors. I also ran DbFixIt on 'an advanced' file which is likely where my problem is . . . I'm definately not advanced - but I found no errors anywhere else and there were thousands of errors in this file - about 7500 errors. I believe the file I ran the Fix on was "PDat CalendarDB-PDat" because that is the one that is still highlighted when I invoke the Advanced file pull-down menu. Then I uninstalled the Palm software & reinstalled it which usually fixes the Outlook problem. Alas it did not, so I sync'ed it with the Palm Desktop. Worked ok on the first sync BUT . . . things looked promisi ng for a while . . . The 2nd time it sync'ed, when launching DateBk6 I got an error message to 'delete some Datebk 6 file" & try again or something like that. I can't get the message back to see what it was. DateBk6 calender on the Palm is totally blank - so is the original Palm Calendar. The tasks, notes & addresses are all ok. Anybody have any idea what I have to do to get this back. Fortunatley my data is secure for the moment but only on the Palm Desktop - glad I did that! The Outlook calendar on the PC is totally wrong too - but not blank - it got hosed one of the earlier times in the first incidence of the Palm & Outlook not syncing together correctly. Up a creek with 1/4 of a paddle. Anybody have any idea what I should do next? Thanks in advance!
