RE: Where is DateBk these days?

Pimlical is 100% compatible with the Nexus 7 tablet, I run it every day.
 
The  problem is PURELY the Google PlayStore which a few weeks ago decided to
unlist any app that did not contain (a) sample screenshots at very high
resolution, (b) a special tag that basically says it's "table-compatible".
Only the tag requires that the application be compiled for at least OS 3.x -
which means that they now made it impossible for a single app to support OS
2.2 through 4.4 (which Pimlical has always been able to do).
 
I will address this by compiling a special version that is identical to the
OS 2.2 version except it has the special tags, and will waste the several
hours necessary to prepare ultra-high-resolution screen shots, duplicating
the existing screen shots, so the PlayStore is happy to list as
"tablet-compatible".
 
Problem is that as Google gets bigger and older, like Microsoft did, it also
suffers from the same fate of getting dumber :(

Oh I just checked -- it's not compatible with the Nexus 7?  Hmm, good job on
that ... what the heck ... unbelievable.  I bet you have had a target market
that would have loved throwing money at your app but it seems you've done a
very poor job of marketing it to people with devices who could benefit from
it.  Nice business model.

Is any version of DateBk on Android or IOS?  That was my favorite software
on Palm.  I couldn't believe when I last looked that it was a desktop-only
app and that even though it was written in Java there wasn't an easy setup
for Mac computers.  Talk about limiting your user base .....  Hoping this
situation has changed.

database and that's what you would need to look for to get restored. Your
icons are stored in the file Icons-DATEBK.PRC.
 
It sounds like neither file was restored...?

After restore from backup then sync of calendar  all DateBk6 preferences are
GONE! icons, colors, VIEWS! Years of organizing, tweaking and obsessive
compulsive time-wasting.

Any ideas how to restore things to their previous glory?
