John, I just can not see myself being 'functionally efficient' with a single device, be it Android or whatever. sure, the switching to an app whilst on the phone works well, no problems [though, I just dicovered my 'replacment Atrix' has prox sensor broken, causes issues, as, need to hit power to wake up screen aways from face, real PITA, I think new phone is needed (also, camera's cooked...)] I often need to enter information consistsing of date(s), time(s), address, plus, plus, plus (if only they would send this as an email...) items that I find repetitive, I have in DatBk template, and, I try to deleted unwanted leaving only one.. having stylus to drag across multiple lines to delete unwanted.. also, made a pick lists in SmartList, that was probably most efficient, I should look at it again and, it's already hard enough holding a phone whilst entering stuff single handed, steadying device with an elbow I now have three A gadgets, Atrix 4", Nexus 7", Xoom 10"; even I was to use Android only, I'd still want a phone device and another one, for lookup/entry but, when I switch to A, I'd want all my devices synched seemlesly (which I guess means GCalendar for sync ?), I just, conceptually, do not want to have to press a 'sync' buttons. I mean, my PC PIM in the 90ies synched my laptop/desktop/home PC with no input from me, my stuff, as well as co-workers (Relish LAN) I think, I'll need 3 gadgets looking forward, anyhow: no matter how you cut it, 7" is more efficient than 4/5%, *and*, Nexus7 fits in a jacket pocket (if a jacket is worn..); but, 10" is better at home than 7" btw, do you know of any way to map screen shot on N7 to a long press key; I find simultaneous power/volume PITA, on Xoom, long press on 'recent' i mapped to s/hot, not sure howto do same on N7. someone just suggested "Xposed Framework", just looking at that Hapy New Year ! in 8 1/2 hours Voytek ------------------------------------ USEFUL LINKS AND WEBPAGES FOR PIMLICODATEBK ------------------------------------------- Post a message: [email protected] Unsubscribe: pimlicodatebk-unsubscribe-hHKSG33TihhbjbujkaE4pw@public.gmane.org Previous messages (view/search): http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pimlicodatebk/messages Pimlico: http://www.PimlicoSoftware.com For information about Pimlical, the desktop calendar: http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/pimlicalpreview.htm To discuss Pimlical, please join the Pimlical group: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/pimlical DateBk4 FAQ: http://www.PimlicoSoftware.com/datebk4faq.htm DateBk5 FAQ: http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/datebk5faq.htm DateBk Cookbook: http://how.to/datebk-cookbook DateBk Wiki: http://oldgods.net/cgi-bin/datebk_wiki Neither Pimlico, the developer, nor the list owner is responsible for content.Yahoo Groups Links <*> To visit your group on the web, go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pimlicodatebk/ <*> Your email settings: Individual Email | Traditional <*> To change settings online go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pimlicodatebk/join (Yahoo!
