Maybe I'm misunderstanding, Martin, but I was bit like you; miss my
Tungsten T5 (well actually I do keep it charged on my desk to look up old
addresses, as I have it synched with an old XP lap top sitting elsewhere)
There is nothing like the way Palm worked.
Get Pimlical working, ( I assume you have a mobile phone, hopefully
Android) putting in only new stuff; this really is better than how Palm
worked as it goes immediately to your desktop (after refreshing) via the
cloud and google calendar; I have not fixed up a few problems with
duplicates appearing. It is better just having new stuff on and making that
all work before trying to move most of your old from Palm, as I assume you
might do. However starting again is a good way of getting rid of rubbish.
On your phone get a solitaire game.
Whenever you get a new phone, Pimlical just keeps going with everything you
had before, from the cloud
