Greetings, FWIW, I just bought a BETTER THAN NEW refurbished Palm TX from ebay seller named gentleman out of Mankato, Minnesota. His ebay store is called "itsnothere". He added improved on/off button, voice recorder w/software, preventative repairs for ROM chip failures, glass screen and improved digitizer, etc... He offers excellent service. I am planning to send the TX that I replaced to him for refurb... He also does repairs on TX other Palm devices. Hope this is useful. Aspects of the device also remind me of my old HP200LX palmtop. The fact that it is an excellent web browser tablet is a plus, but not a mayor consideration for me. Anyone here has gone the route of the N810? I currently have a very troublesome Motorola Q WM device. The only pluses for it are that its keyboard is (for me) more comfortable than that of the N810 mock up which I saw at Microcenter in Cincinnati, Ohio. Meanwhile I am using and old TE in bad shape, trying to decide whether to keep alive a failing TX, and trying to decide whether to repair my old TC. After using a WM device, and trying my daughter's iphone, and seeing what a ripoff the contracts are (mandatory 2 year, mandatory internet for as long as you use the iphone with AT&T, and the other hidden charges), I am motivated to try to keep the Palm platform around as long as possible, even if it is just on an emulator. Just my current thinking on the matter.
