I... How do you find the Centro, compared to the previous Treos? Is it
stable, fast, and is the keyboard nice to use? The web reviews on it are
kind of mixed.
It is much smaller than what I was used to, I had a Zire72 and TungstenC
before this. (Actually still have them just in case.)
I do not particularly like the keyboard, but I don't see any better options
in a smartphone. I would like a screen keyboard even less I think.
Do you anticipate being able to use all your Palm apps on the Pre? I
understand that although it will run the apps, it will not necessarily
integrate these with the Palm webOS PIM functions.

Not thinking about is, as I just got this phone a year ago and hope it last
a year or two longer. ;)

Not being able to have Agendus work the way it does on my Treo now would be
a disaster.

How are you using Agendus in particular?  I bought it when I got a Vista
machine and Palm KILLED the Desktop in the Vista version for me.  as a
replacement for Palm Desktop.  I find I don't really use the Palm app part
too much.  On the Centro I mostly use...
Contacts, for collecting contact info and having it available on the go.  I
also use Anagram, which automatically grabs contact info from any
highlighted text and puts it in a new contact through Palm Desktop.   I just
figured out a set up to sync my Palm contacts with Gmail freely. It is not
nearly so easy as syncing, but I am scheduling it for once a week or so.
I use the web app for reading gmail, gtasks and other random sites. I have
frequently used the Map app if I am in a car w/o a GPS.  Gcal is nice
because you can embed the map automatically in an appointment if you wish,
along with other pertinant information.  I am trying to switch to cloud
based apps that I can access with my phone as much as possible. I use the
free version of Goosync to sync my calender. In fact I have misplaced my
sync cord, but due to Goosync have functioned reasonably fine without it for
a while.

The battery life is terrible compared to my old Zire. Basically I need to
have it charging unless I am using it.  This prevents me from using it as an
MP3 player.  It would be nice, because I am a bit hard of hearing and it
will automatically turn down the music when you get a call, but I am afraid
then I wouldn't have it ready if I needed it for the phone features. It does
seem to charge back up pretty quickly.
