Voice memos and voice control of Palm Centro

Anyone have any suggestions for getting voice memos from a Palm Centro onto
your computer and turned into text?  I am using Dial2do if I am out, and
frankly I find the program to be amazing, but I don't get reception in the
house and would like something for collecting quick thoughts on the fly as I
move around.  Seems ridiculous to have to go get yet another gadget, when
the Centro has a voice recorder.   I wanted a voice command program as well,
but then found it was only for a windows mobile Centro.  I don't want to pay
for the monthly fee service offered through Nuance either. Suggestions?
