Thanks you.  I appreciate the input.  Part of the reason i have been a smartphone hold-out for so long, is that I really don't need a phone for work.  I need a great destop manager and a PDA device for meetings and to take my scehdule/tasks home with me.  I actually enjoy having a "cheap" cell phone as I can be very rough on my stuff on the weekends (I workout a lot and am outside a lot on the weekends).  I also enjoy a kind of "seperation" of work and personal stuff you can get with two devices.  I do use ATT as they seem to get the best reception in my area - although verizon is putting in a tower about a mile from my home.  Thanks!

If you are in an area where ATT cell coverage is ok then I'd go with
iPhone and Omnifocus. The Omnifocus app is wonderful and easy to use
but with a lot of depth in it and designed specifically for GTD. I
don't have an iPhone so I can't comment on the iPhone version but
friends who do have it say it is very good. I'm using Omnifocus with
my Palm Treo, which is working acceptably well for my next action lists.
