The most important one for me is Launch Manager. I mapped it to my Start button. I hate the start button on WM devices, adds an extra step to finding programs. Launch Manager allows the Treo to function to Palms home page. It is D ring friendly also. The other two I like are Pocket Breeze, a Today Screen enhancement and Agenda One a PIM enhancement. With these, my Treo Pro is just about as user friendly as my Tro 750p was. My only complaint is that a stylus is required once in a while where with the Palm you could do just about everything with the D ring. If you prefer the stylus, you'll be happy with WM. One big area that WM sucks is the notes. Not nearly as useful as the Palm Memo application. There is an app called Phatnotes that is more powerful, but with the power, the simplicity of the memo app is lost. The screen is very nice on the Treo Pro, I like having wi-fi, bluetooth works great, it's nice having a 3.5mm headphone jack, and micro usb. If only they could have made the Palm OS to work with this hardware and an upgrade to the Palm browser you would have had a perfect device. --- In [email protected], "dennisthornton1952" <dennisthornton@...> wrote: > > I'm pleased to read you survived the transition! > > I'm still stuck until either DateBK or Pimlical will also work! DateBK is and always will be Palm only. Pimlical will go where DateBK cannot, but it hasn't left yet! <grin> Pimlical is expected to run on WM at some point in the future, so there seems to be a transition for me someday. I'm glad to hear Bonsia is usable on WM. > > My Moto flip is very durable and needs to be with my activities at home. In spite of my T3 having an all metal Rhino case, it does not travel everywhere with me. I'm doubting if a naked Treo would survive with me. > > I would like to hear more about the "tweaking and add ons". > > Thanks, > > Dennis Thornton >
