The Palm OS phones (Treo 700p 680p and Centro) all use keyboards. No built-in graffiti, though there are software apps (like TealScript) that will add it. Why you'd want it, is beyond me. After seven years of proficient graffiti, I find the keyboard easier, more reliable, and faster (for the past three years). DateBk6 will run just fine and everything will continue as it did on the TX. Should you try to get a Pre, the emulator available for "classic" apps does not support synch with a host computer, so your data is in an island with no way out. On the other hand, Pimlico is developing a calendar app (Pimlical) with all the same features to run on a Java engine. The core of the Pre is a Java engine, so it seems that app will port pretty easily when they're ready to do it. Are the Palm phones equivalent in use to a standard Palm - does grafitti work the same way etc. and how do I decide which one? > > Personally I find it better to have a separate phone and palm, I have no idea how you talk to someone and enter data at the same time if you only have one device. >
