Time and Chaos ver7 or !ntellect will work from an USB thumbdrive
(portable) no problem. The issue will be in syncing the software to
sync between the Palm and T/C must be installed and can not run via
USB.

Using the above with an E2.

The desktop software is installed on an thumbdrive, T/C & sync on
home machine. Any remote update is done on the Palm (if short)
longer items added on the USB T/C (if not needed on Palm can be
synced at home). Sync each night when home to both the desktop
version of T/C and the Palm.

Syncing the Palm on the road requires a laptop or netbook, have not
found any sync program that can run on a usb thumbdrive due to
registry entries.
